Author Richard Dawkins Banned from Berkeley Radio Station For Non-PC Tweet

Acclaimed British author & biologist Richard Dawkins has been banned from a US radio station appearance in California, over so-called “hurtful” comments about Islam over Twitter. (Pass us a box of liberal tissues, please.) Yes, the KPFA radio station in Berkeley aka the Communist/Fascist capital of the world, had invited Richard Dawkins to speak at an event to discuss a new Science book that he had written, only for him to be told that it was cancelled due to a Tweet that he posted back in 2013.

Dawkins, who is a known atheist, was reminded of this Tweet that he shared on his views about Islam and Islamism, and the danger it poses for the western civilisation. Richard Dawkins first Tweeted “Islam is the greatest force for evil in the world“.

And, with many Islamic extremists, plus Muslim Conservatives and with their refusal to assimilate into western society, yet live within it, (plus with their wish for Sharia Law whilst living in a western country), can most definitely be considered as complete hypocrisy, with their hatred and killing of gays (throwing them off buildings), their control of women’s rights, also with their child brides (pedophilia), the devastating Islamic migrant rape culture burdening Europe right now, to their hatred of pork, dislike of dogs, and not seeing eye to eye on a woman’s place in society, plus also to that of “Honour Killings” which happen regularly, which might be seen by some people, as some serious warning signals for the western world. But, not for KPFA’s radio station and their event in Berkeley, as they seemingly feel that it’s way off limits for criticism and for mentioning any of these things, because it is “hurtful” to mention it.

Well, go figure as Berkeley has made itself into a laughing stock over the past 18 months, with their inability to accept “free speech” and or accepting anyone that has Republican or Conservative view points. So now, let’s see a Tweet response from Richard Dawkins from 2013, shall we?

After his speech was cancelled, Dawkins stated what has been on many people’s minds for a very long time, just why does Islam get a “free pass” from criticism, whilst Christianity doesn’t? That’s a very good question, indeed. At the recent Gay Pride event’s around the world, Dawkins pointed out on his Twitter that placards stating “Jesus is Gay” was all okay to be seen there, but just imagine if something stated the same context on a placard, in relation to something “Islamic”, it would surely spark pandemonium and holy war. But, that’s how it is…

KPFA pulled his speech relating to his new book (buy here) on the science of the soul because of his Tweets from four years ago, and in response, Richard Dawkins penned an official letter which was posted on his Twitter account, (read here).

Richard Dawkins gladly pointed out that his issue is with Islamism and that he’s never been banned from any event for criticising Christianity.

KPFA released a statement, “We had booked this event based entirely on his excellent new book on science, when we didn’t know he had offended and hurt – in his tweets and other comments on Islam – so many people.”

KPFA make us laugh and chuckle now, since they embody all that is wrong in liberal Berkeley, since political correctness is a socialist venture, which only leads down the road to one thing, which is communism. Something which Marxist professors and Antifa hoodlums love very much in the barren wasteland of Berkeley.

KPFA continued in their statement, “KPFA does not endorse hurtful speech. While KPFA emphatically supports serious free speech, we do not support abusive speech. We apologise for not having had broader knowledge of Dawkins’s views much earlier. We also apologise to all those inconvenienced by this cancellation.”

Dawkins hit back at the radio station in his letter, “If you had consulted me, or if you had done even rudimentary fact-checking, you would have concluded that I have never used abusive speech against Islam. I have called IslamISM “vile” but surely you, of all people, understand that Islamism is not the same as Islam. I have criticised the ridiculous pseudoscientific claims made by Islamic apologists (“the sun sets in a marsh” etc), and the opposition of Islamic “ scholars” to evolution and other scientific truths.”

Dawkins then hit the nail on the head, as he wrote further, “I have criticised the appalling misogyny and homophobia of Islam, I have criticised the murdering of apostates for no crime other than their disbelief. Far from attacking Muslims, I understand – as perhaps you do not – that Muslims themselves are the prime victims of the oppressive cruelties of Islamism, especially Muslim women.”

Please now put your hands together and applaud Richard Dawkins, (applause). Richard Dawkins then wrapped up very nicely, saying, “‘I am known as a frequent critic of Christianity and have never been de-platformed for that. Why do you give Islam a free pass? Why is it fine to criticise Christianity but not Islam?'”

Yes, why is Islam given a “free pass”? Everybody would like to know that, right about now… Brainstain, over and out!
